Both are labelled as RnB artist, but I would disagree with that ; they are way more than that. These two talented artists are comparable to no other than each other as I believe they are the best, both men play guitar and Trey songz also plays the keyboard, lets compare 'em, shall we?

Miguel
Miguel Jontel Pimentel was heavily inspired by rock,soul and Micheal Jackson, just like many singers of his generation. He grew up singing and it would only be natural for him to pursue it as a career. He was signed to Jive records in 2007 after leaving Black Ice records over creative differences. Because of this, he would spend the next two years writing songs for artists such as Usher, Asher Roth and Musiq Soulchild before releasing his own debut album; "All I want is you" which gave the world a hit single of the same name featuring Jcole.

Standout songs include, "lotus flower bomb" with Wale,"Sure thing", "Adorn" and "quickie".
His old punk-soul music is refreshing as it almost has a RnB flavour and yet shies away from the usual, it's a versatile sound that shows off his vocal and song-writing ability.

His sultry funk has unleashed a renewed interest in the experimental style of song-writing among his peers, from his smooth falsetto to his lyrics he is one of two that are ahead of the game.

Trey Songz
Born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, Trey Songz was not aware of his immense talent as a tween, but was helped by his friends and family when they pushed him to enter a talent competition at the tender age of 14 where he was heard by Troy Taylor and offered and signed a contract with Atlanta Records in 2002 at the age of 16, but it would be another two years before he started recording. In this time he released mixtapes under the name Prince of Virginia, this RnB singer raps as well making him more than a triple threat; with him being a singer, song-writer, producer and rapper.

We all remember the cornrows yes? He hacked them off and may I just say he's looking clean-cut and suave, an excellent look, both versatile and appealing.His smooth and sultry voice has given us in-the-dark anthems such as "Neighbours know my name" and "Love Faces", he has also collaborated with many artists such as, Nicki Minaj, Lloyd,Drake,Jcole, Lupe Fiasco, Fabulous, soulja Boy and Gucci Mane.


He has taken RnB to whole new level with his sexy themes and dance-along-to tracks that he throws in there to show who's boss ( Him). An incredible talent, Trey is revolutionary in that he uses what has always been around, everyone knows about it but nobody's ever heard it done like this before.
